For our Trainers Pilates is more than exercise, it is a way of life
Diana began her Pilates training in Colorado in 1998. After moving to California she continued her studies and completed her teacher training in October of 2000. Diana received her certification from Studio du Corps; the Pilates Center of Orange County, under the direction of Diane Diefnederfer. On top of her certification from studio du corps, Diana has attended a number of additional workshops and conferences. She has completed five Ron Fletcher Method Pilates workshops, Pregnancy and Pilates through Core Conditioning, Finis Jung dance and teacher training, as well as many other continuing education courses. Before opening Pilates Ten Orange County, Diana taught mat and apparatus sessions at Studio du Corps, The Sports Club LA, Ballet Pacifica, and Inland Pacific Ballet.
Diana’s Passion for Pilates stems from her love for dance. She has been dancing since the age of four and enjoyed a ten year career as a professional dancer here in southern California. She attributes her successful and injury free dance career to her Pilates work and enjoys passing that passion on to all of her clients. She works with men, women, dancers, post rehab patients, pre and post partum women, and people of all ages. Diana is so happy to have opened Pilates Ten and looks forward to working one on one with each of her clients-to pass on the work and the lifestyle of the Pilates Method.
Nichole’s love of movement began at an early age when she first started taking tap, ballet and jazz at the local dance school. She continued to dance (competitively and for enjoyment) throughout High School and College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999. For 11 years, Nichole focused her efforts on her business career and successfully managed marketing teams for multiple Fortune 500 companies on both coasts. Between countless meetings and frequent business trips, Nichole continued to be a diligent student of dance, Yoga, Pilates and general fitness. But it wasn’t until she discovered the Pilates Reformer during physical therapy sessions to treat neck and back injuries that she truly fell in love with Pilates. Urged by her physical therapist to become a certified instructor, she decided to trade in her blackberry for bare feet and Nichole quickly discovered that not only did her work on the reformer lessen her pain, it also created noticeable changes in her body – longer leaner muscles, better posture and increased mobility. Nichole’s goal is to share her knowledge and love of Pilates with people of every age and size, to help them achieve their fitness objectives and improve their lives, because Pilates is truly movement for life! Nichole holds a comprehensive Pilates Certification through ABC Pilates in Laguna Niguel, CA (Balanced Body University curriculum).
